The Kane County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard is the formal representative of our Department. Members of this unit are volunteers that were personally selected by Sheriff Perez from three separate divisions: Corrections, Court Security and Public Safety.

The Honor Guard was formed to provide the department with a specially trained Ceremonial Team that is trained in military style drill and ceremonies. The Honor Guard represents the department at formal and solemn occasions. Presentation of the Colors, marching in parades as Color Guards and conducting memorial and funeral services for our fallen brothers and sisters are some of its functions.
