The Housing Unit operation begins with ten (10) different housing units intended for detainees of different classifications and security levels. In addition to these units, there is one unit dedicated for the sole purpose of housing detainees with various medical concerns. Within each Housing Unit, personnel are responsible for monitoring the welfare and safety of each individual in that unit. It is also the duty of Housing Unit personnel to ensure detainee compliance with facility procedures and the cleanliness of each unit.

On a daily basis, detainees in each Housing Unit participate in a variety of programs. These programs include; religious services, public visitation, educational and substance abuse programs. It is also the duty of all Housing Unit personnel to facilitate and track all detainee participation in these programs. Housing Unit personnel are also responsible for the facilitation and logging of detainee movement to court appearances and medical appointments.
