The Civil Division is the unit of the Sheriff's Office which processes legal filings by both private attorneys and the State’s Attorney’s Office. Process servers see that the papers are served in a timely fashion. In addition, the Civil Division handles foreclosure sales throughout the county and provides a weekly list of upcoming property sales.
