On September 21, 2008, the Kane County Sheriff’s Department will host
the second annual Sheriff’s Charity Car Show. The event will be in the
parking lot of the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Rt. 38, St. Charles,
from noon to 4:00 p.m. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Last year’s show, our first, was a big success and over $4,500 was raised
for the Easter Seals Jane Shover rehabilitation center in Elgin. This
year we are raising money for Disabled American Veterans, a most honorable
cause, and are expecting a larger crowd. Please help us show appreciation
for the military veterans who have sacrificed for our freedom. This is
a family event and we will update this site soon with sponsorship information.
