Featured Yearly Event | Sheriff’s Charity Car Show
On September 21, 2008, the Kane County Sheriff’s Department hosted
the second annual Sheriff’s Charity Car Show.
On Sunday September 21, 2008 Sheriff Perez hosted his second annual charity car and motorcycle show to support The Disabled American Veterans group. The DAV raises money for the men and women of our armed forces who have been injured serving our country. The DAV is a great cause and a good way for people to remember the sacrifices that these brave men and women make every day to ensure the freedoms of this great country. The event raised over $6000. Sheriff Perez would like to thank all those who donated to this worthy cause as well as those who entered their cars and motorcycles into the event. Special thanks goes out to the sponsors of the event and the men and women of the Kane County Sheriff’s Department who donated their time to help staff this successful event.
